This is the first stage in the 8 stage filtration system
Stage 1. Primary Filter: Removes rust, sediment, particles of 5 Microns or larger. Located in white dome – top bowl and referred to as Black & White sediment filter
The fibre pads do the same thing one is white and should be placed on top for easy view of dirty filter – which both can be removed and cleaned regularly based on the quality of your water.
